Antrim bus company gets Wright news
Co Antrim based Wrightbus has secured a £6m (€8.63m) export contract to supply buses to Hong Kong, it was announced today.
The contract with the Kowloon Motor Bus Company (KMB) will see bus builder Wrightbus deliver 50 new buses to the Asian transport group by the end of 2004.
The order is the second 50-bus order to be won by Wrightbus from KMB.
Wrightbus, which employs around 780 staff, said it has a full order book for the next nine months.
The company is one of Northern Ireland's success stories.
In the past five years it has grown its staff levels by more than 60%.
