Mean Fiddler, the music events group headed by Vince Power, has sold a further five million shares of the company for £500,000 to another Irish businessman, Denis Desmond.

Mean Fiddler, the music events group headed by Vince Power, has sold a further five million shares of the company for £500,000 to another Irish businessman, Denis Desmond.

Mr Desmond, who owns MCD, Ireland's biggest music entertainment and events organiser, already owns 16% of the Mean Fiddler and now his total holding is 15 million shares, representing 24.3% of the issued share capital.
