Enron scandal mastermind seeks prison deal
Former Enron finance chief Andrew Fastow is expected to a reach a plea bargain deal today that could see him jailed for 10 years but get a much-reduced sentence for his wife.
If lawyers and judges in Houston, Texas, agree on the proposed plea deal with Fastow, he could appear in court to change his innocent plea to guilty today for his role in the accounting scandal that brought down the energy giant.
