Parmalat to test goodwill of its banks

Rescue managers appointed to the troubled Italian company Parmalat are set to ask creditor banks for new loans to keep its factories running.

Enrico Bondi, who took over at Parmalat in mid-December as the group's troubles emerged, will start a series of meetings with bankers.
