DART stoppages no fun for Funderland organisers
The organisers of this year’s Funderland fun fair at the RDS say business is suffering greatly because of stoppages on the DART line to the southside of Dublin.
The opening day of the annual fun fixture attracted 10,000 thrillseekers yesterday, nevertheless organisers say this is a dramatic drop on last year.
Funderland marketing manager, John McGee says that people have to take buses instead of the DART from Connolly Station.
“It’s inconvenient for our customers, who are mostly children and teenagers” he says.
