Ryanair breaks Dublin-London two million barrier

Ryanair has announced it has broken through the two million passenger landmark figure on Europe's busiest air route - Dublin-London - carrying nearly half of all the traffic on this route.

Head of Communications at Ryanair, Paul Fitzsimmons, said: "This year is our busiest ever.

"With over 60 new routes launched, almost 24 million people will fly on Ryanair's 146 routes throughout 16 European countries."
