BMI to open Glasgow to Knock flight service

Knock Airport have announced that BMI Regional will operate a daily jet service between Knock International Airport and Glasgow International Airport.

Knock Airport have announced that BMI Regional will operate a daily jet service between Knock International Airport and Glasgow International Airport.

This new daily jet service, including weekends, will commence from the 15 March 2004, and will be just under a hour.

Tickets are available on the BMI internet site with fares starting at £25 / €35 one-way, including taxes and charges.

Speaking after the announcement, Alex Grant, Managing Director, BMI Regional, said: " All signs indicate that there is strong demand for air services between the north-west of Ireland and Scotland's west coast.

"We look forward to continuing to work with the management team at Knock International Airport to ensure this route is a success."

BMI Regional is a subsidiary of BMI, the second largest airline carrier in the UK.
