Industrial production up 6.6% - CSO

Industrial production in Ireland rose by 6.6% in the three months to the end of October, according to the Central Statistics Office (CSO).

This figure shows a substantial upturn in production from the 0.8% growth recorded in the three months to September.

The Statistics Office said that volume of industrial production rose by 11.5% in October from the same month a year earlier.
