Hostelworld.com is to provide Ryanair passengers with an online reservations facility. Through its website, Ryanair.com, customers will now have access to over 3,000 hostels throughout Europe.

Owned by Web Reservations International Ltd, Hostelworld.com was the recent winner of the Ernst & Young Emerging Entrepreneur Award. Headquartered in Dublin since its foundation in 1999, WRI has emerged as a leading provider of online reservations to the budget, independent and youth travel market.

According to Hostelworld's CEO Ray Nolan: "Our service will be a perfect fit for Ryanair customers.

"It will now be possible to book a short break with flights and accommodation in many European destinations from as little as €50 all in," Nolan added.

Ryanair.com's Commercial Director, Conal Henry said: "This year Ryanair will carry almost 24 million passengers. With this new partnership we can offer more low cost accommodation choices for consumers."
