Villa score with Trintech ticketing system

Dublin payment systems group. Trintech. Has secured a ticketing deal with English Premiership football club Aston Villa.

Its PayWare system will be used by the midlands club to automate the processing and distribution of match tickets bought using a credit or debit card.

The new system has been implemented at the club's stadium and will allow fans to pay for tickets at an unmanned payment KIOSK, located at the entrance to the stadium.

The KIOSK will also print tickets immediately, thereby avoiding long queues at ticket sales desks.

The PayWare solution is being jointly installed by Trintech's established reseller, Synchro Systems, based in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

According to Villa's Dave Money: "This system allows us to cut down on costly paperwork and manpower spent managing ticket sales."
