Dublin telecom software company raised €5.25m

Prime Carrier, a Dublin based telecoms software company, has raised €5.25m in second round funding to go towards financing its expansion.

ACT Venture Capital, led the round, which included existing investors Delta Partners, Ion Equity and Hot Origin, all venture capital firms.

Prime Carrier's software is aimed at generating savings for landline and mobile operators by better managing their traffic.

The company, headed by Vincent Browne, was established in December 2000 and employs 35 staff in offices in Dublin, London and Denver.
