FSA issues Christmas food warning

The Food Safety Authority has warned food businesses to be particularly vigilant during the Christmas party season.

Peter Whelan of the Food Safety Authority says the catering sector and all food retail outlets must be particularly conscious of ensuring food safety measures during the festive season.

He says at this time of year all food businesses should adopt a good safety management system to avoid any incidents of food poisoning.
