Harney to launch 'better business' initiative

A national initiative promoting information and advice to small businesses will be launched in Dublin on Thursday.

The 'Better Business Show' will travel to 22 locations nationwide from January to March next year to assist Ireland's 172,000 small firms.

Advice will be provided free of charge and a range of key cost issues that affect SMEs will be discussed.

These include strategy, finance, ICT, hardware and software, energy, insurance, telecoms.

Tánaiste Mary Harney will launch the project at Confederation House, Baggot Street at noon tomorrow.
