Ormonde mining reports good prospects
Ormonde Mining plc, the Meath-based company that trades on the Exploration Securities Market (ESM) of the Irish Stock Exchange, has announced that it has returned high gold grades from its project in Salamon, Spain.
The company is focused on developing gold projects in Europe with a particular emphasis on Spain.
These results are to be followed up by continuous sampling from trenching, and exploration of a previously untested new gold zone.
Chairman Coin Andrew said: "These results are excellent news as it means we are not eploring multiple mineralized high grade horizons and we are looking forward to further results from Salamon"
The current drilling programme will be completed in December with further results available in the next 3-5 weeks.
Ormonde Mining also reports that it expects to commence drilling on the Portas prospect at Trives, 180km from Saloman, in the new year.
