CRH appoints new Finance Director

Myles Lee has been officially appointed finance director following the retirement of Harry Sheridan.

Mr Lee has been finance director designate at the building company since February this year and general manager in charge of finance since 1988.

Commenting on Sheridan's role in the company, CEO Liam O'Mahony said that he had been integral to the development of CRH over the past 36 years.

Sheridan has held the post of finance director for the past 16 years.

Liam O'Mahony earned nearly €1.5m last year, according to the company's annual report.
