IHF guide launched

Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism, Mr John O'Donoghue today launched the Irish Hotel Federation's (IHF) Be Our Guest Guide to promote Ireland as a tourist destination.

The guide is in its 17th year and is seen as a key marketing tool to help sustain the 150.000 jobs in Irish tourism.

IHF president Jim Murphy aso highlighted the guide's complementary service, the irelandhotels.com website for online booking and information.

The Guide has been produced annually since 1986 and will be distributed by Fáilte Ireland and the Northern Ireland Tourist Board in the domestic market and by Tourism Ireland in the overseas market.
