Foot Locker eyes Ireland

Foot Locker, the giant New York based sports goods retailer, is planning to enter the Irish market next year as part of an expansion of its European operations

The company plans to open up to 12 stores in Ireland over the next three years.

The sports retailer had a turnover of $1.2bn (€1bn) in the third quarter and has 3,600 outlets worldwide.
