SRH reports strong growth

British media group Scottish Radio Holdings PLC reported strong growth in the year to September 30, 2003, and said it has continued into the current year.

The group own radio station Today FM, which last month acquired Dublin's FM104.

Turnover from continuing operations for the year was up 18% to £83.5m (€119.04m) from £70.5m (€100.51m) with like-for-like revenues up 6%.

Group operating profit, before goodwill amortisation, from continuing operations was up 26% to £19m (€27.08m).

Pretax profit from continuing operations was £11.8m (€16.82m) compared with a total pretax loss of £13.5m (€19.24m).
