Chief executive of Vodafone Group PLC, Arun Sarin has said the group was preparing to launch third generation (3G) mobile phones in the middle of next year.

Chief executive of Vodafone Group PLC, Arun Sarin has said the group was preparing to launch third generation (3G) mobile phones in the middle of next year.

He said: "Our major push is planned from mid next year when we expect a wide range of devices to be available in large volumes".
