NTL reports 14% increase in revenue for Q3
Cable company NTL Ireland has reported a 14% revenue increase to €25m for the third quarter to the end of September.
Increased sales of existing services, a price increase for existing customers with effect from January 2003 and an increase in business sector revenues all contributed to the figures.
A rigorous credit policy enforcement also helped to reduce the company’s bad debts.
The company recorded 346,200 residential customers to the end of Q3.
Digital television customers grew by 6,300 to 59,600 including MMDS customers.
Overall, the NTL group saw revenue increase by 3.8pc to £555.2m (€801m) in the third quarter.
