John McGuckian has been appointed Allied Irish Bank's senior independent non-executive director.

John McGuckian has been appointed Allied Irish Bank's senior independent non-executive director.

He replaces Dermot Gleeson who became Chairman of the Board of AIB on October 14, 2003.
