Sony develop Gaelic football game for PS2
The makers of the Playstation game console are developing a Gaelic football game.
Sony Entertainment said the game will be available from early next year on the Playstation 2.
It's being made by an Australian software company, using an engine previously developed for their Aussie Rules game.
GAA President Sean Kelly launched the initiative in Melbourne today.
Ireland has more Playstation consoles per head of population than any other country outside Japan, and Sony said it expects to sell almost half a million copies of the game by March.
