Simpsons on the way to Vo-doh!-fone
Mobile phone operator Vodafone today announced an agreement for the distribution of popular cartoon 'The Simpsons' branded mobile content to its customers throughout Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
In an exclusive arrangement with Twentieth Century Fox, Vodafone is to offer its customers ringtones, animated picture messages, wallpapers and screen savers in the form of 'The Simpsons' merchandise.
The initial content will be available from November and is to be followed at a later stage by games.
Adam Comiskey, General Manager, at THQ Wireless said : "Our decision to launch this range of content first, with Vodafone, reflects on their ability to access a worldwide customer base.
"The Simpsons is set to become a leading favourite in mobile entertainment," Comiskey added.
