Irish and UK farmers groups meet in Dublin

The ICMSA and British Farmers for Action have met in Dublin to announce a shared objective between both groups.

The Forum aims to secure the maximum return to dairy farmers from the markets and combine efforts to combat the growing power of retail multiples.

The new group wants to adopt joint positions for action by the British and Irish governments and the European Commission.

It will also support and co-ordinate action in the interests of dairy farmers in Britain and Ireland.
