Sky sell United shares
BSkyB have sold their 9.9% stake in Manchester United, which is worth around £62m (€88.4m).
The satellite broadcaster sold their entire stake in the Barclaycard Premiership champions last night, amid increasing rumours of a takeover.
United have been at the centre of takeover speculation in recent weeks following a sharp rise in their share price, with the Cubic Expression Company of Irish racehorse owners JP McManus and John Magnier and American football supremo Malcolm Glazier tipped as potential buyers.
