Unions to decide on action tomorrow
Trade Unions in Aer Rianta will announce on Tuesday their course of action in response to the Government's decision to break-up the state-owned body.
The move follows an overwhelming 85% vote in favour of industrial action by union members over the Government's decision to appoint individual boards to Dublin, Cork and Shannon airports.
Union leaders believe that Transport Minister Seamus Brennan has failed to engage with them on the issue.
Brennan has responded by saying that the Government has made its decision to break-up Aer Rianta and it is the Department of Transport's responsibility to implement that decision.
