Siemens wins $200m contact from US army

Siemens AG's Siemens Building Technologies AG unit has won a $200m (€174m) order to provide building technology for five years to the US Army Corps of Engineers.

Siemens AG's Siemens Building Technologies AG unit has won a $200m (€174m) order to provide building technology for five years to the US Army Corps of Engineers.

It was announced by Siemens Building Technologies Inc, the US branch of the unit, today.

Siemens will install building technology systems such as heating, ventilation and air conditioning at federal and higher-education facilities and at buildings of the state and the local government, it said.
