CRH down 40c on ISEQ

Greencore shares remained static at €2.84 today after the announcement that it will meet with stockbroker analysts before entering its close period for the year ended 26 September 2003.

These results are due to be published on Tuesday, November 25.

The food company is expected to confirm that it remains confident of delivering full year headline earnings per share in line with expectations.

Cement Road Holdings dropped 40 cents to close at €16.35 while mining group Arcon closed at 42c following the publication of its

2003 Interim report and Financial statement.

Tullow Oil shares fell 7% in London earlier this morning after the company announced it was abandoning a North Sea well after failing to strike oil.

Shares in Tullow closed at 1.19 in Dublin today.
