ISEQ late afternoon wrap

The ISEQ was down 13.7 points at 4.721.44 at 4:30 this afternoon

In financials AIB was down 13 cent at €13.27 and Bank of Ireland was down also, by just 0.01 cent at €10.90. At the other end of the scale, Anglo Irish Bank moved up 12 cent to €9.62 beating its year high to date of €9.54, and First Active was up 0.05 cent at €5.05.

In pharmaceuticals Elan dropped 18 cent to €5.20 still showing some effect of yesterday's second quarter results, while United Oil was at €2 up 0.01cent.

Ryanair lost some ground on the heels of the French court's Strasbourg ruling, down 0.15 cent at €6.40

Amongst the non-movers at this time were Sherry Fitzgerald at €1.82, also Irish Continental Group €9.2 and Gresham Hotel Group at €0.88.
