British euro opponents cheer Sweden's 'No' vote

Opponents of British entry into the European single currency were today celebrating a decisive Swedish vote to reject the euro.

With votes from 97% of the country counted, some 56.3% of Swedes had voted against scrapping the kroner, against 41.7% in favour of the euro.
