Independent News and Media have reported after-tax profits of €47.7m for the first six months of the year.

Independent News and Media have reported after-tax profits of €47.7m for the first six months of the year.

This represents an 8.4% increase on the 2002 figure driven by increased operating profits and reduced interest and tax charges.
