Farmers concerned about WTO talks

Macra na Feirme has expressed concern on behalf of Irish farmers ahead of this week's World Trade Organisation negotiations in Cancun, Mexico.

The Irish Farmers Association has already demanded that the Government and the European Union insist that the agreed reform of the Common Agriculture Policy is their bottom line in any negotiations on farm subsidies.
