Irish technology company, Marrakech has successfully raised $5m (€4.5m) in additional funding from existing investors Cross Atlantic Capital Partners and AMT Sybex.

Irish technology company, Marrakech has successfully raised $5m (€4.5m) in additional funding from existing investors Cross Atlantic Capital Partners and AMT Sybex.

The company has also added Carl Symon, Chairman of Cross Atlantic Capital Partners and Pearse Mee, founder of AMT Sybex to its board. The latest round of funding brings the total amount of funds raised by the firm to $66m (€59m).

Marrakech, which provides internet based transaction solutions was founded in December 1998 and is headquartered Dublin, Ireland with additional offices in London, Mexico City and Buenos Aires. At its peak, the company employed around 200 people, but has recently undergone several rounds of restructuring.
