Trintech wins Celtic deal

Transactions and payments solutions expert, Trintech has announced that it has been selected by Scottish Premier League Club, Celtic FC to provide a solution to automate its ticket sales.

According to a press statement released by Trintech yesterday, Celtic FC has deployed its PayWare solution at the club's headquarters in Glasgow. The server-based solution will manage all card transactions from all the club's ticket sale operations including tickets sold over the internet.

Eamon Keating, General Manager of Trintech's Retail Division said: "The addition of Celtic FC brings our roster of clients in the sporting field to well over 60. We are particularly pleased that Celtic chose to upgrade to the latest PayWare Merchant solution thereby highlighting the inherent advantages of our product roadmap and vision.

"PayWare Merchant will provide Celtic FC with the option to manage card payments across multi-merchant environments, including retail, Internet and mail order."
