Kodak becomes top Dow gainer

Eastman Kodak rose by US$1.88, or 6.7%, to a two-and-a-half-month high of US$29.77, becoming the biggest percentage gainer within the Dow industrials.

At the end of August 2002, Kodak was the Dow's worst performer in that period, sliding 20.4%.

Intel, the Dow's best performer for the first eight months of this year with a 57.1%gain, was slipping 20 cents, or 0.7%, to US $28.39.
