Easyjet to fly three new routes from Gatwick

Low-fare airline easyJet is to fly to three new routes from Gatwick airport this autumn.

The no-frills carrier will start services to the French cities of Marseilles and Toulouse and to Bilbao in Spain on October 26.

Return fares will start from £40.98 (€59) and the new services will take the number of routes the airline operates from Gatwick to 17.

Meanwhile, another low-fare carrier FlyBE. will start twice-a-day flights between Southampton and Edinburgh from October 26.

Tickets will start at £19 (€27) one way. The new service will take the number of routes the airline operates from Southampton to 15.

Since the start of new services from Southampton at the end of March 2003, FlyBE. has carried almost 300,000 passengers.

In a separate announcement, British Airways has said that its new Gatwick service to Paphos in Cyprus will start on October 19 – one week earlier than originally planned.
