Honeynet, the Irish site set up to study the patterns of hackers, recorded a three-fold increase in hacker visits in June.

Honeynet sees three-fold increase in hacker traffic

Honeynet, the Irish site set up to study the patterns of hackers, recorded a three-fold increase in hacker visits in June.

The site recorded 1,363 individual attacks in June 2003 compared to 600 attacks in January and compared to 364 attacks during June last year.

Honeynet was set up by Deloitte & Touche, Espion and Data Electronics and has been in operation since June 2002.
