Pizza Express puts slice up for sale
Struggling Pizza Express - sister chain to Pasta di Milano and Milanos in Ireland - has put a slice of its restaurants up for sale as it tries to rekindle its 1990s success.
The group, which was acquired by private equity buyers earlier, is considering closing or relocating around a dozen of its 340 restaurants as part of a widespread review.
According to Property Week magazine, they include 10 London sites as well as Brighton, Hull, Dundee and Perth.
The Pizza Express chain owns the Milano restaurant chain in Ireland.
