Payments solutions company, Network365 has announced that it has secured a major deal with DSTCom, a mobile operator in Brunei.

The deal will allow DSTCom’s customers enjoy a range of messaging applications provided by Network365’s mzone technology. Using mzone, DSTCom will be able to offer advanced information services, picture messaging, ringtone downloads and mobile games.

The agreement was secured in conjunction with software developer hSenid, one of Network365’s Asian partners.

“Network365 is driving the future of the wireless industry with its innovative technologies. The deployment of mzone will enable us to exploit fully the revenue potential of SMS and MMS by being able to provide a stream of new applications from Network365 and third parties to our subscribers.

The deployment of the Network365 mzone platform is strategically important for us and will ensure that we remain the leading innovator in our market, said Amir P. D. Hj Hussin, Head Value Added Services at DSTCom.

Network 365’s CEO, Raomal Perera had this to say about the announcement; "DSTCom was looking for a proven technology and found exactly what they wanted in mzone, the ideal applications platform to enable operators to maximise the potential of mCommerce. We are confident that this is the beginning of a mutually beneficial relationship between our two companies."
