Motorola gets Kuwait contract
Motorola's global telecom solutions division said it signed an expansion contract valued at $19m (€27.1m) to provide Kuwait's largest mobile network operator, MTC-Vodafone, with network services and equipment to increase capacity and coverage.
Motorola will also enhance MTC's general packet radio service (GPRS) by providing capacity to handle data services available to wireless subscribers. Yesterday, Motorola's stock closed up 9 cents at $9.84.
