Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation has reported a 73% rise in pre-tax profits to $1.1bn (€973m) for the year end to June 2003.

Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation has reported a 73% rise in pre-tax profits to $1.1bn (€973m) for the year end to June 2003.

The global media company's fourth quarter profits almost trebled to $320m (€283.1m) powered by American film and television arm, Fox Entertainment.
