Civil service to publish progress reports

Action plans submitted by the various civil service departments and offices are to be published by the Civil Service Performance Verification Group.

They will contain specific performance targets in relation to benchmarking procedures and in particular, the Sustaining Progress agreement.

The establishment of the CSPVG was agreed by the social partners under Sustaining Progress. It will verify that the conditions for payment to the Civil Service of the final two phases of the benchmarking increases and the general round increases are met.

The group will then assess progress made by organisations in relation to their Action Plans.

The Department of Finance has agreed to make this material available to the public on its own website (www.finance.gov.ie).
