Heatwave sparks rise in bottled water sales

Ballygowan Water has reported a huge rise in sales of bottled water during the heatwave.

The company said it had sold almost two million litres of water in the past week alone, around double the sales figure for the same period last year.

The company said it was struggling to keep up with demand.
