Davy acquires Focus Investments

Davy Stockbrokers has acquired Focus Invesments, an IFSC asset management business set up in 2000 by former Davy employees Dermot Walsh and Aidan Maguire.

Davy Stockbrokers has acquired Focus Invesments, an IFSC asset management business set up in 2000 by former Davy employees Dermot Walsh and Aidan Maguire.

Davy has acquired the entire share capital of the business for an undisclosed amount.

Focus, which has seven staff, will continue to operate as a separate entity.

At present it has around €110m in management. The minimum investment in its funds is €250,000.

Davy Stockbrokers is owned by the Bank of Ireland.
