Eurobank leaves rates unchanged
The European Central Bank left interest rates unchanged today, giving itself more time to size up the prospects for a long-awaited economic upswing on the continent.
The bank’s 18-member governing council, meeting in Frankfurt, left the key refinancing rate at 2% where it has been since a half-point cut on June 6.
