AEP Systems announces new partnership

Irish company AEP Systems, the high-speed security solutions company, and Kaon Technologies, a New Zealand network security company, has announced a partnership to make AEP Systems' IT security products available in New Zealand.

As a distributor, Kaon Technologies will supply AEP Systems' range of security products to corporate, government and education customers in New Zealand.

According to analyst firm IDC, the security services sector in the Oceanic region grew at a rate significantly above that achieved by the overall IT services sector in 2002.

In an IDC report published earlier this year, the analyst firm said that enterprise security issues have moved up within the business hierarchy to a strategic level.

AEP Systems has also recently announced a partnership with i-Security Solutions Ltd (i-SSL), an e-Security applications developer and system integrator based in Hong Kong.

i-SSL will include AEP Systems' security hardware products in its portfolio and will promote and distribute AEP Systems' products in the Greater China region.
