Software body wants increased funding

The Irish Software Association has called on the Government to extend its business expansion scheme and seed capital scheme until 2006 and to increase funding under the schemes to €2m.

The Association claimed that failure to extend the schemes in this year's budget would prevent start-up software companies from getting a foothold in the market.
