DCM sells voice maintenance base to Diacom
DCM Group, Digital Communications Management, which supplies and supports technology communications tools, has announced that it has strategically sold its voice maintenance base in Ireland to Diacom. Diacom is an Irish telecommunications systems supply company. The value of the deal was not disclosed.
DCM Group will concentrate on selling voice and data products together with developing data network and managed services. Dublin based Diacom have gained and will service 600 existing voice maintenance contracts. In addition they are taking over all Service Level Agreements and technical staff.
The deal will enable DCM Group to develop its existing data business in the Irish market place and invest substantial resources into DCM Group UK to increase voice and data revenues. In addition DCM Group will increase the overall number of distribution channels throughout the UK and Ireland.
Established in 1978, indigenous communications provider DCM Group architects, installs and supports Multimedia products, Data products, LAN & WAN solutions and provides Network Security services such as firewalls and VPN’s to over 400 customers. Corporate clients include Greencore, Offices of the Houses of Oireachtás, Law Society, and Fyffes.
