Bakery group to report full-year results
UK bakery group Inter Link Foods is poised to reveal it has cooked up another year of rapid growth when it reports full-year results on Tuesday.
Having comfortably met expectations at the half year stage, the company is expected to unveil annual profits of £3.9m (€5.65m), compared with £3.3m (€4.8m) last year.
Analysts at Numis Securities also predict that Inter Link, which bought malt loaf maker Soreen earlier this year, will give an update on its consolidating position within the UK cake market, where it has continued to win new business.
Inter Link’s acquisition spree in the last two years has included the Creative Cake Company.
The company makes novelty celebration products based on licensed characters such as Barbie, Scooby-Doo and Bob the Builder. These can be bought in Ireland.
