FSAI appoints new chief executive

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland has announced that Ann Westby has been appointed Chief Executive of the Food Safety Authority of Ireland and will take up office in early October.

Westby is currently Technical & Corporate Affairs Manager with Nestlé Ireland and has over 30 years experience in the food industry having held a number of technical and managerial positions within Nestlé and more recently has been involved in project managing cross-functional business initiatives.
